Sinai Dressage was started by Helen Dawson in 2000 and embodies her passion for horses, teaching and dressage.
Teaching and Coaching
British Dressage Registered Senior and BYRDS / U21’s Trainer
BD UKCC Level 2 Coaching Certificate, Pony Club Accredited Instructor.
Tuition is available in all disciplines, it is essential that all riders can maintain rhythm, balance and control on the flat, over fences and in open country to be safe, confident and successful.
Training sessions are tailored to the individual horse and rider combination and given under the ethos that confidence, knowledge, understanding, discipline and practice are essential to performance whether you are aiming for your first dressage test or competing at a high level. Test riding training is also an essential part of maximising your performance.
Through passion and enthusiasm riders achieve their goals and often a lot more!!
Sinai clients have been very successful over the years competing at BD Area and Regional Finals, BD Home Internationals and Inter Regional Competitions. PC and BRC National Championships, BE events to Novice level plus Intro Championships.

Training and Competing
Helen has trained dressage horses for over 20 years, starting with an unbalanced cob and training her to win dressage classes, through to training young horses to advanced dressage.
Represented Wales at the Senior Home International, competed at Area Finals, Petplan National Championships and Regional Finals from Novice to Advanced Medium.
Every horse is an individual and teaches you many things, training is extremely rewarding and each frustration and difficulty teaches you something to take forward to the future.
Helen has been influenced by trainers from the UK, Europe and the USA and strongly believes riders must remain open to all schools of thought to find the answers.
Sinai Dressage Winter Competition Series and Points Championship
Established last year to encourage and improve grass roots dressage in Monmouthshire!
The series was a huge success so we are back this winter with more classes and excellent prizes from our wonderful sponsors!
